Debra Stewart is a licensed professional counselor. She graduated with a B.A. from Cornerstone University in May, 1997 and with an M.A. in Counseling from Cornerstone University in May, 2004. She has completed specialized training and specializes in: play therapy (including specialized training for special needs children and adolescents), sexual concerns and dysfunctions (including abuse recovery), relationship issues (including marriage, couples, pre-marital and Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy), women’s issues (including self-harm), depression, anxiety, PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), and spiritual concerns. She uses an integrated philosophy of counseling in which theological principles and eclectic theories are utilized to best serve the client. She believes in holistic care and will work with a number of other professionals as needed in order to provide a holistic, effective treatment plan for each client.
